Gonzaga

Anyone catch the Gonzaga/MSU game? Zags did much better than I thought they would. Robert Sacre has improved a ton during his red shirt year. Elias Harris is going to be damn good too. Surprisingly their "Veteran" guards looked like crap. So how will they do with some of the teams they hav...

zags

After looking really bad for several games, the zags finally pull one out. I don't know how they did it. Shot freethrows terribly (never seen a zags team shoot that bad on freebies!), rebounded worse, and had a ton of stupid turnovers. Overall they didn't look like they wanted to win other than Bold...

zags

Plenty of height this year. starting 6-8, 6-11, 6-11 across the front line. unfortunatly none of them play a physical game inside. closes thing to a physical presence they have inside is Ira Brown, and he's only 6'4". the rest of them are mostly soft. Not saying you can't win that way, but it's...

Re: ND

UW is pretty much one dimensional. Jake Locker. That's it really. Stop Locker, and you stop the Huskies. I am confident that Tenuta/Brown can scheme to exploit Locker's questionable completion percentage and make him try to pass first. Now if the young bucks on offense continue to improve, they shou...

ND

Washington should be able to win against ND! ok maybe not. Not really an exciting enough game to get me to drive the 10 miles to go see it

200 record

No slowing up this time. He set out to smash the world record, and he did. beat it by .3! That's amazing. Usually records are broken by .05 or less. Other than him possibly breaking it again, I think it will take the rest of the world a long time to catch up.

I watched it too. GSP wasn't ever in danger in that fight. Just totally outclassed fitch. Can't wait to see BJ and GSP now. If only BJ can show up in shape at 170. He was dominating GSP till he gassed in their last fight. UFC almost seems to have too dominate of champs at 155, 170, and 185. Hard to ...

would be a great way to extend your career too because they play much fewer games a year. He wouldn't get nearly as beat up for a year or two, and get to see all of Europe while playing ball. Sounds like a great time.

Silva is smart to go up to 205 though. He'll have a lot more big money fights at that weight, and he didn't look small. Fedor can fight Arlovski, Randy, and Barnett. so he'll have a few big fights. Not that I see any of those guys having a chance against him. Faber I think is stuck without any other...

Anyone watch the UFC or Affliction cards this weekend? Not sure we answered who is best pound for pound when Fedor and Silva both tore through their guys in 30 seconds!

I think he should play until his broken down body will no longer allow it. Hell that's what all of the rest of us do with our own sports, and we don't even get paid for it! If he really just wants to play, then he'll play for a reasonable amount of money. the packers have opporated all offseason ass...

Josh Hamilton

What a show he put on last night. Was a let down that he didn't win the whole thing though. Still I think he ended up with 5 of the 10 longest balls ever hit in HR derby or something close to that. Impressive.

I think he was the founding member of the "Good ol' Boys" club that run the BCS conferences. He never could understand how the second place team in an Non-BCS conference could possibly be better than the 8th place team in the Big East or ACC.

Griffen would beat Chuck like a red headed step child. No contest. I want to see some Celtic dancers in front of Griffen on the entrance next time. He made Rampage look like a has been! It's a fight I'd love to see. He'd probably fight him just like Kieth Giardine did. Might work for him too. Or he...

Griffen/Jackson

I think there were two really happy people when Griffen won. Dana White and Chuck Liddel. I don't see how Chuck was ever going to get another shot at rampage, but he'll be close to first in line to fight Griffen. And for Dana that will be a huge money fight! the only other fight on the card that was...

Anyone else here watch Mixed Martial Arts (MMA like the UFC)? I've lost all interest in boxing. It's too boring to me now. MMA to me is much more exciting. Just wondering if I'm the only one here watching it. The Griffen/Jackson fight last saturday was fantastic.
