On this day in 1975 my family moved back to Kellogg, after eleven years in Meridian. It was the fourth move between the two cities for my parents, but we hadn't lived in Kellogg since just after my birth in 1964. This move was the hardest for me, by far. Kellogg seemed very far away and separate from all that I'd grown up with, but in retrospect, it was one of the best things that ever happened to me. Even though I'm back in Meridian now, I'll treasure my nearly 30 years in Kellogg for as long as I live.
P.S. My parents continued to move between the two cities--going back to Meridian for 9 months in 1977/78, before returning for a 17-year stint in Kellogg--some of the best years of their lives. And of course now they're back here in Meridian again.

Good work Roops. On this day and episode you were talking about 7 years ago today, there was a speech that I will never forget. It was when Sue Hawk told Kelly during the final tribal council that if she were dying of thirst in the dessert and Sue was walking by, she would not give her a glass of water. Classic reality tv at its best.
