Here's a few more from the Hairband Era:

Ozzy - Bark at the Moon & Flyin high again
Helix - Rock You
Axe - Rock & Roll Party
Warlock - All we Are
Autograph - Turn up the Radio
Motley Crue - Public Enemy Number One, Helter Skelter, Smokin in the Boys Room / Power Ballad - Home Sweet Home
KISS - Heaven's On Fire / Power Ballad - Beth
W.A.S.P. - I Wanna Be Somebody
Guns 'N Roses - Sweet Child O'Mine, Welcome to the Jungle
Samantha Fox - Touch Me

Other bands frequently heard from the ghetto blaster - Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Dokken, Cinderella, Krokus, Faster Pussycat, John Cougar & Meatloaf (The last two weren't really Hairbands, but did get there share of play on the ghetto blasters!)

Hi Mike - yep, Helix is hard to find. I had Rock You on my myspace playlist for a while, but the song has since been deleted. Here's a site I found that has Helix downloads. I haven't tried it, but it might be worth checking out:

Another great band from the 80's that we forgot was AC/DC (I can't believe I forgot to add them)

Ya, Angus and company are one of my fav's but for some reason I've never seen them as a "hair" band. They'er more in that classic Ass Kickin band that transends past generational stereotypes.

The Cult - Wild Flower
Cinderella - Don't know what you got
Stevie Nicks - Edge of Seventeen
Dio - Holy Diver

And you also need this classic.

I enjoyed all the lists of 80's music, but being me I had to add my own additional favorites:

David Lee Roth - Just Like Paradise, Going Crazy
Motley Crue - Girls, Girls, Girls Same Ol' Situation
Bon Jovi - Livin On A Prayer
Dokken - Alone Again
Krokus - Ballroom Blitz, Hot Stuff
Bullet Boys- Smooth Up In ya (yeah one hit wonder I know)
Y&T - All American Boy, Summertime Girls
Van Halen - Why Can't This Be Love, Panama
Twisted Sister - Hot Love
Scorpions - Big City Nights
Bonfire- American Nights, Sleeping All Alone

Well that's my 2 cents worth all the way from Qatar, you guys should be hearing more from me in a couple of months.

LOL...yeah..if they both werent dead :P

You know, Cathi Jerome (Braun) said if we can think of any bands we would want to hear up there to let them know and they will look into getting them. they had what, one concert up there last summer? I think alot of these old hair bands would kill to play again! and probably keel over doing it! lol

Actually alot of these bands are still touring, at smaller venues mind you but they are still rockin! I don't think I'd want to see nelson though, didn't they go country or something like that? When I was still in Arizona, Twisted Sister played and still kicked ass. Tesla would be a good band for up there, they still sound good I saw them at an outdoor venue and they sounded like they did when I saw them in the early 90's.

To me 80's music was about partying and getting laid, it made growing up in the era so much fun :D

How can they still do concerts up there since they put in the tubing park? Didn't they take the amphitheater out?

If we can't get any of the bands up on Silver because of the tubing park, I would love to see a hair band rock Teeter's Field. They have the whole field to put up their stage, pyro-technos, etc. and still have grass for dancing/moshing. There is plenty of bleacher seating, along with balcony space at Dirty Ernie's. They could just charge every person $20 bucks or so to enter and have all general admission seating/dancing. Also have a $20 fee to enter Ernie's during the concert. Oh what a night this would be!!!
