Post by Ken Lagerquist »

Pretty good tonight!!! Should be at least 20-0 with that missed field goal, but that has been the story this weekend for missed field goals. Whats everyones take on the game tonight?

Holmgren is fired up and rightfully so. He is sick of the stupid errors and mental lapses. Matthew looks good and just needs a little more help from the O-Line. I hate to say it, but Mo Morris fits this style of offense MUCH better. He hits holes HARD and he is QUICK. He is far from a power runner, but he makes the most out of nothing. IMO, Alexander is more of a downhill runner. He is patient, but he needs big holes to get into space. Mo creates openings. I am all for Holmgren slinging it and using the draw play to punish teams. It should be 20+ to nothing. No first downs for SF. I am loving it. Look for them to punch it in a few more times in the 2nd half.

I like the effort of the D. Much better.

Much better game this week, the crowd was in it big time tonight!!! Still not a very productive second half again!!! I just waish the Seahawks could put two excellent halves together offensively. It looks like a good start. THey really need to keep up with the short passing game, thats where it is at with these guys. Matt still has a tendency to throw up some ducks and it is scary. But this win i will take, definitely exciting to see them play tonight. They can be a scary team come playoff time!

They did look pretty darn good last night. Like you two said, I like that they are throwing the ball more. Just wait until Branch is back as well to add to their receiver core...

However, keeping things real, the Niners are one of the worst teams I have seen in awhile. They are not a very good team. If Seattle can beat up on Chicago and take care of them on Sunday, I will be a little bit more impressed...

A win is a win in the NFL though so I am still very happy with last night.

All I can say is that the Seahawks had better win tomorrow!!! I think if they can have one turnover or less, then they will win as the home crowd should pull them through.

Also, I Just talked a guy I work with who lives in Seattle and is a big fan of all the Seattle sports teams. He said that they've been playing clips all over the news over there about Redskins FB Mike Sellers, who is from Lacy, WA. I guess Sellers said that Seattle's crowd cannot be that loud and that they are not scared of the noise, etc. He also mentions that he thinks they put in the artificial crowd noise through the PA System... Anyways, all of the Seattle fans over there are in an up-roar about it so you know that they will be louder than can be tomorrow.

P.S. Last time someone said this kind of stuff was a player on the New York Giants last season and the crowd was insane, the Hawks put up 38 points in the first half, and the Giants had 7 false starts for the game!!!

Thats awesome Casey, i am hoping the game is on TV over here, which it should be, i am probably going to have to wake up early to watch it, oh well, it will be worth, especially when they win and shut Sellers up!!! The 12th man will be in a huge UPROAR tomorrow and i would not be surprised to see the Redskins have 7 false starts like the Giants did. I know the Skins are the Hottest team in football right now, but they have to travel across country and play in the loudest stadium in the league. Doesnt bode well for them!

Plus, if Seattle loses to Todd Collins at home, who has been a 2nd or 3rd stringer his whole career, then the Hawks deserve to lose...

That is great that you are getting up early to watch over there Ken... Go Hawks!!!

Didnt the Seahawks have to deal with this Weak Schedule crap in 05 during their Super Bowl run?? The schedule means squat to me in the NFL. The playoffs are Gut Check time! MSNBC story

What a game today!!! The offense is going to have pick it up some the rest of the way in order to get by the next round. But they have Green Bay next week at Lambeau, so i think they will be ok!! The defense looked just awesome today except during the TDs they gave up. But after that, they kicked it into gear and looked very impressive today. Matty has got to make better decisions on offense. any inputs?

I was in Spokane all day yesterday but I recorded the game and used the espn gamecast on my phone to keep up to date. When I got home I watched the game. The Defense was UNREAL. Yeah they gave up those 2 quick touchdowns, but they were mainly due to the fact that the stinking offense couldn't sustain a drive or hold on to the ball. I was so disappointed in Hasselbeck yesterday. I swear that guy is either on fire, or crying the entire game. He missed receivers regularly and threw into coverage all game long. Heck, even the critical catch by Burleson on the sideline was a crappy decision by Matt. Holmgren looked like he wanted to strangle Hasselbeck after that 4th quarter pick yesterday. I hate to make excuses, but I wonder how healthy Hasselbeck was yesterday. Having a wrist injury on your throwing hand can't be good. There were times yesterday where he looked to be throwing sidearm. I wonder if the wrist isn't 100%. Hopefully it is better because we want the ball cause we're gonna score!

The defense, more specifically, the secondary looked very tough yesterday. Some of those pass breakups were just amazing.

Hopefully the O plays better and puts the ball in the endzone frequently next week at Lambeau!

Go Seahawks!

I agree 100% Simon. I think his wrist was giving him fits and when he hit a helmet during the game, im sure it aggravated it big time. I predict the 'Hawks will beat the Packers, because it will be weak schedule vs. Weak Schedule. If anyone had a weak schedule, it was the packers!! THen the Giants will beat the cowboys and the Seahawk will beat the giants for another Super Bowl Run!!!!

By the way, Did u get my message?? Looks like i will be home within a week. THe service will be in Pinehurst. I will keep u posted

I think the Seahawks have the same chance of winning on Saturday as our Golf Coach has of shooting under 70 for 18 holes at Pinehurst by the end of May. Is this achievable Coach?

I hate to disappoint, but even if I was able to play golf 8 hours a day like some of the members out at PGC the odds of me breaking 70 wouldn't be too great. So the Seahawks have a MUCH better chance by far. Now if you were to say my man Hank "My Sabbath" "Mr." Ravenhurst instead of me it would be a stone cold lead pipe lock!

Seahawks will win. I feel it!

That's what I meant Coach. I meant Hank "The Snake" Rauenhurst on the Pinehurst Golf Coarse. LOL. I meant you breaking 70 by May on the Regular Nintendo's "Golf". With some sweet Mario & Luigi action on the linx...

It may not beat PLU's recrod, but I know the best score ever I shot on NES Golf was a 14-under par, 58. This was achieved only about a year ago as I still play the regular nintendo & super nintendo regularly.

Ken and Rock, this is primarily why I recently purchased a Wii. You can download all the classics and play them! Of course they aren't free, but still.
