I take a completely different rout. I'm sick and tired of paying .99 for a song (a fair price I think) and not being able to use it where I want. So, for storage I use Media Monkey. It will convert itunes and mp3's how I want. So where itunes will only let me play or record a song so many times, I just record it once on to a disc, then I down load it onto media monkey. Then its free from any other system. Napster charges monthly now and I only download about 20 song per month, so paying .50 and a monthly was stupid.
From Media Monkey I can burn CD's (I've ripped all my fav's from my old discs onto it too) or I can put it onto a portable device. I'm using a simple MP3 player right now.
I hate any company or system that attempts to force me to be loyal to just them. It limits me from choices and slows me down.

I am currently using a 2GB iPod Nano and iTunes. I hope to get an 8GB Nano soon!
Moving up to the big time huh Simon?? LOL Go big or go home!!! that way u dont have to keep buying bigger one, LOL I have a 30 gig iPod, havent added any songs in over a year, but i plan on doing so sometime soon. And lets keep sharing songs, it is a great idea and we all can go back and see if we have them or not and add them if we dont have them
