I have never heard this song. Does it sound anything like "Bulls on Parade"?

Of course I disagree with many of these selections. They are all great songs. There are lots better that a lot of people haven't heard. I also wouldn't call about 80% of these songs metal. But I like to nitpik.

LOL regarding "Bulls on Paradise". I actually just copied and pasted the list and didn't notice that...

I agree in that some of them I don't consider real metal, but nonetheless a pretty good list.

What's your fave on here Hank?

My favorite on this list is "Crazy Train". That song is actually #3 on my all-time list.

Well, I thought about this a while. I am not saying these songs are the best, just my favorites. Trying to keep the list below 300 is tough. Boiling all those good tunes down to 20 is impossible. Again, some of these songs aren't exactly METAL. I had to drop a few I really love. But discuss this list and enjoy some vids.

Good List Hank. I don't agree with all of it, but to each is own. I love some of your selections though. The VH of course sings to me (probably the most underated album from that band. I love how raw it is). The needle lies is a nice addition. Queensryche's drummer is awesome.
You know what I really like about your list is that its like the "Never mind the mainstream" version of metal! You should post the list somewhere or do a podcast type thing on Itunes.

Quite possibly one of the sweetest posts I have seen on the internet since Al Gore invented it.

Sabbath, I thank, and salute you for your awesomeness. Not since Pickle the Tree have I seen such command of a genre.

Also, the reference to "Night Tracks" made me weep a bit, albeit openly. Those late nights of "Mags" and "Night Tracks" are still vividly etched in my skull.

Carry on my fellow KHS Grads and friends. Carry on.

I am envisioning myself pulling the e-brake in my 75 Ford Courier while busting out a drive up to Silverhorn with my BD Sabbath while listening to NightTrain by G&R in hopes of getting in a few runs before dusk.

Good times....
