Darrell Lee Zinn, 44, passed away April 18, 2010, at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Darrell was born April 23, 1965, in Kellogg, to Edward and Cleo (Block) Zinn. Darrell attended and graduated from Kellogg High School in 1983. Darrell worked as a carpenter for Allied Builder and for Jerry Hill Construction along with various other construction companies.

Darrell was an avid fisherman; he also enjoyed playing the drums, riding motorcycles, skiing and spending time at his river place. Darrell is survived by his mother, Cleo Zinn of Kingston, three sisters: Carolyn Eaton and her significant other Joey Holand of Kingston, Francine Bartley of Kellogg, and Gayla Waggoner fo Baxter City, Kan.; one brother Jim Zinn of Kellogg; his lifelong friend LeAnne Zinn of Smelterville; two nieces, Angela Eaton and Chris Schabell, and Erin Bartley; two great-nieces, Madyson and Nevaeh, and one great nephew, Ayden.

Darrell is also survived by his dear friends Ronnie, Shiela, Jamie, Josh, T.J., and Sofie Hayes; as well as his friends from Saturday Jam night, his lifelong friend Jim Schultz, and too many to mention, you know who you are. A celebration of Darrell's life will be held at the Kellogg Elks Lodge BPOE No. 1841 on April 23 at 1 p.m. A special tribute to Darrell will also take place on April 23 at the Inland Lounge in Kellogg.
