LOL, you two are awesome.
Do you guys remember throwing that bouncy ball in the gym in 7th grade. The whole horde of us chasing that stupid ball around just so we could throw it again. I know, stupid memory but for some reason you two just reminded me of it.

Simon Miller wrote:When I say "better" arm, I don't mean just arm strength, I mean accuracy too, and I meant Vick in college, not now. But he has yet to take a snap so the jury is still out. There is concern that he doesn't fit the "drop back" mold, but if the ND O line is as porous as it was last year having a mobile type QB might be a good option.

ND doesn't redshirt, but they allow kids to apply for a 5th year of eligibility if they didn't play as Freshmen. In essence it still results in the same thing, but ND refuses to call it Redshirting. But it is possible given the "procedure" on Jimmy's arm.
Good call Weis. I figured that's what you meant about arm strength, but I just had to razz you a little bit. What year is Demetrius?

That is an unusual method of red-shirting, but I kind of like the philosophy. As long as they don't burn a Freshman's season on some meaningless minutes in the 4th quarter of a blow-out. I'm sure Charile and his assistants know which guys they "don't" want to play in those situations whether they outright say it or not.

I'm sure ND fans are hoping that Jimmy Clausen turns out to be like the last hero in Indiana named Jimmy - "Jimmy Chitwood" from Hoosiers... LOL.

I knew you were razzing me a bit... Demetrius is a Soph. but he didn't play at all last year, so technically he has 4 years.

Here is his info on scout.com.

Simon, you know i gotta razz ya about the Irish, or my day wont be complete.

I heard a good trade idea for Kobe. Kobe and a first round draft pick to New Jersey for Jason Kidd and Vince Carter. It will never happen, Kobe will nix it in a heartbeat, with his No-trade clause

The Hawks D looks tough, now if the offense can stay healthy behind a more seasoned offensive line?

Hey, at least he's smart enough to try and get off the Lakers

No I think he's gotten his way so much with the Lakers that it's screwed the team/franchise up. If Shaq never left, I think they'd still be getting rings. He needs to stay and suffer with what he created. They got some young talent, if Kobe would ever let them hold the ball it might help the team concept.

Anyone think the Giants will pull off the upset on Sunday? I sure hope they do, but I don't think it will happen.

Also, does anyone else feel the same way that I do in that this is the least excited you have ever been for a Superbowl... I will probably watch it, but this is the first year where I actually would rather be doing something else than watching the big game.

Casey...
That pretty much sums up my exact feelings on the "big game". I'll probably have the game on TV, but I'll probably be doing other things and/or be flipping channels (if there's anything else worth watching).

Can they both Lose? I kind of want the Giants to win, but I don't really like the Giants and don't really care. Hopefully the commercials are good.

I am pulling for the G-Men. Coughlin was on the "hot seat" after 4 weeks. Now he is in the Superbowl. I couldn't be more sick of Tom Brady, Randy Moss, and Belichick. Actually a few years back I liked the Patriot organization. And I don't dislike them now, except I am sick of hearing about them!

Go Giants.

I'm making the bold prediction, I'm taking the G-men by 4 points.

I am picking the Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Mennnnnnnnnnnnnnnn by less than 5.

Watched the UFC fight last night, and Brock Lesnar dominated until Mir got a freak submission knee lock on him. He was beating the crap out of him when it happened. He looked good, but his inexperience got him last night. he will be a force in UFC

I humbly admit my prediction of a G-Men victory.

Brady looked lost without Weis calling the plays (ND plug) and Belichick is a pouty little jerk. lol

It was great to see an ND D-lineman (Tuck) beat up on a Wolverine (Brady). (Another ND plug. )

In all seriousness, that was a GREAT game and I am glad the Giants won. The Mannings are 100% class and Coughlin was on the hot seat in week 3, yet here he is pulling off one of the biggest Superbowl upsets of all time.

Awesome stuff.
