My bad, i thought you guys were actually talking about the ZAGS!!! not the stinking Irish or Longhorns, LOL!!! geez.

The Horns should have beat the Jayhawks yesterday tho, tough loss in that game. I am shocked that Durant went scoreless in the OT.

Top 10: Prettiest Cinderellas; from fox sports

1999 Gonzaga — No. 10 seed to Elite 8: Dan Monson's Bulldogs were the No. 10 seed in the Western region, and not expected to do much. Then they promptly beat Minnesota, Stanford, and Florida in succession. In the regional final, Monson's bunch scared the hell out of Jim Calhoun's top-ranked Connecticut. Since UConn went on to win the national championship, it's not a stretch to say that mid-major Gonzaga was that far away from the national championship.

Sound a little like this year?

Sorry, I put this originally in the wrong thread.

The Zags beat themselves. They let their emotions get the best of them. They lost on the boards, missed shot because they pushed to hard not playing their game, and fouled too much in the paint because they were out of control. I'll miss Ravio and Mallon, but this is an up and comming young team and I look forward to the next few years.

Nice shot of the Leppie Roops. I appreciate the ND representation!

Great pics Roops.

I can't believe University of South Central beat the Horns. It was painful for me too.

Since my two teams (Zags, Cougs) got eliminated in the first weekend, all I have left to cheer for is: Upsets, Upsets, Upsets. There is probably a 100,000 to 1 odds on this, but I am cheering for a Southern Illinois, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and either Butler or UNLV Final 4. This would be all of the lower seeds left... I'll be happy though as long as Florida does not repeat this year. They must go down... Hopefully Butler's dead-eye shooter Graves will go off on Florida like he did against the Zags earlier in the year...

I'm going for Oregon, the closest team to me.

Besides, they haven't won it since 1938. They're due!

As a true Washington State fan, I would rather drink a bottle of Pine-Sol than to cheer for Oregon to win it all... They are due though, and they have been playing some good ball lately and are peaking at the right time... It would make my weekend if UNLV takes them out...

Don't get me wrong F-Rock, I'm not a Duck fan, however, as like you, I could not stand seeing Florida win or even UCLA. Maybe Memphis, Butler, or Vanderbuilt (sp). I'm just so down about the Zags, but next year will be better. After the Zags and N.D. were out I was watching the Cougs but we all know how that went. I'm still shocked!

You are right PLU in that it sure is a bummer when your team/teams don't make it to the 2nd weekend of NCAA Tournament action. I am just not even close to being as pumped up about this Thursday through Sunday's games as I was last Thursday through Sunday's games.

Memphis sure pulled out another squeaker!! They got a huge break with the 1.1 seconds coming off the clock, but probably didnt make much difference. Great game tho.
