Seahawks= Sissies
I can not believe how much of a bunch of sissies these guys are!!! They are too dang soft for the NFL, they need to buck up and start playing like a buncg of men. They continue to get manhandled by inferior teams each week. They have way to much talent to be losing like they are. Anyone have an opinion on this, at least from u Seahawks fans! haha. I will say this, they are very lucky to be playing in the weakest Division in the NFL!

Ken,
I was at the game tonight and I agree with you completely. I don't know what to say. Someone need to tell shaun A. that football is a full contact sport and that YES you do have to work for a yard or two in this league. Walter Payton, who until a short while ago, rang the most yards ever, but only about 3 years of that he had a really good offensive line. The hawks will continue to suck until two things happen, 1. they get a running game again, 2. they learn to cover the passing game underneath and long at the same time. They're getting schooled. I don't know if this is a coaching thing or what but it seems the jig is up.
Sure the O-line needs to step up and they did have some bad moments tonight, but the saints D only had to play against one side of the offense making easy to get to Matt. I love the hawks, but someone needs to put alot of Rudy in these guys.

That was about as bad as it got last night... That was sweet that you were at the game Nords... Neither one of you mentioned their defense though. It was absolutely pitiful in the first half. The Saints just marched down the field at will... I echo both of your comments on their offense. If they can't run the ball anymore, they are not going to win very many games. Alexander doesn't seem to be running very hard, but their O-line has been pitiful as well. John Madden said it best last night when he said that their team hasn't been the same since they lost Steve Hutchinson. Their O-line sure hasn't been the same and Steve was their "toughest" lineman. They just don't have the toughness...
Also, some of Holmgren's play calling and decisions were as pathetic as I have seen in years. Not going for the field goal on 4th down with a minute left and they need two scores is just plain stupid. The only chance they had was kick the field goal, cut it to a 1 possession game, and go for the onside kick...
To the offense's credit, they were without their top 2 receivers. They better beat the 0-6 Rams next week at home, then they have a bye week, then Branch and Hacket should be back, which will really help.

Yep... two weeks in a row Holmgren's girls have laid an egg. Alexander runs like he is afraid to get hurt and Hasselbeck is back to his constant whining. You nailed it Ken, they just need to cowboy up and start playing football. They were pathetic last night.Ken Lagerquist wrote:I can not believe how much of a bunch of sissies these guys are!!! They have been pretty pathetic since the Super Bowl year. Just like Casey said, ever since hutch left, they havent been the same with their running game. Walter cant do it by himslef on the left side. When Hutch was there, teams knew they were going to go left 90% of the time, but they still couldnt stop it. Next week will be a start. The only positive i say is that during the SB year, werent they in the same boat then rattled off 10 straight regular season wins??? All i ask for is some consistency and to quote golf coach, "Cowboy Up". Couldnt have said it any better.Simon Miller wrote:Yep... two weeks in a row Holmgren's girls have laid an egg. Two things:
1. Shaun got a huge fat paycheck. He doesn't have to work anymore and it's guarenteed so he has the hawks over a barrel.
2. They lost Hutchins on a little nitch on his negotiation. They should have just paid it, and kept one of the best lines ever intact.
All their problems stem to these two things in my opinion.
The defenses have all been good enough, if the offenses would have been better and stayed on the field with leads.

I agree that Shaun got paid, i am not sure that he doesnt think he doesnt have to play, i think he is flat out afraid to get hurt. He has always been like that for the most part, but always had hutch and Walter there to open big holes for him, now he doesnt have that. So when there isnt a hole, he just crumbles to the ground before anyone can hit him hard
